I've been on the fence about putting foam under my glass tank. I know flat bottom tanks are supposed to have foam under (like acrylics) but what about glass? Mine has the black trim around the bottom and euro-braced at the top. My stand is made up of 4x4's and 2x4's. I'm thinking of doing foam on the stand then a sheet of 1/2" OSB directly under the tank. What is everyone else doing?

If your tank has the black framework, the foam would serve no purpose. Just make sure the wood is perfectly flat - no warping or "gaps" in the part the contacts the tank frame...
