Who is going to MACNA?

I know we aren't having a meeting this month because of MACNA, so I am wondering who all is planning on attended MACNA?

Things were crazy here for the past month, and I have never attended any of the big conferences before (IMAC -- which no longer exists, nor MACNA), and couldn't afford to make a weekend of it this year, despite the venue being so close. But I am seriously considering going on Saturday only; I just have to decide if I am going to get a room Friday night so I am sure to be there when it opens on Saturday or if I'm just going to head out early Saturday morning (which is possible for me to do, even though I'm not much of an early riser.)

ARGH! I'm so mad! New Jersery Reefers has changed the schedule of speakers! Now, the one person that I really did not want to miss, Matt Wittenrich, is talking on Sunday instead of Saturday. Not happy.

I will be there, helping Jason most of the time, so I don't know how much else I will be seeing or doing. Maybe see you there if you decide to go. Have a good weekend.
Matt

As it's so close I really regret that I won't be there, but hope you all have a super teriffic time :D

Matt, I hope you're getting some kind of kick back for your efforts!

Elysa, sorry for the schedule change (REALLY REALLY SORRY). We had to make the change due to a Religious observation. Could hardly argue that one!

I do hope that you'll enjoy the speakers none the less!

Need some pursuading? There are going to be more raffles than you can know what to do with. We'll have raffles all three days raffling off things like tanks in nearly every size imaginable, clams, fish and corals from ORA, 52" TV, Laptop, Nikon D40, and many other great prizes.

Saturday night's banquet will feature Richie Kohler. He was instrumental in identifying a U-boat discovered dangerously close to the coast of NJ. This German war sub was sunk during WWII and NOBODY (not even the German offices) knew it was there. This identification process took them years and the stories they tell now are just amazing. Want a preview? Read Shadow Divers between now and the 26th. This should be a fascinating presentation.

Get there Friday night and join us for the Nerds! It will be a great night of entertainment and meeting up with the folks that you talk to online all year.

There's nothing like the experience of a MACNA!

Darn religions! I understand, things happen... I do have his book...

What are you thinking, Pat?

Scott Michael does talk on Saturday, but at 8am. Yea gads! I'd like to go to see who is there from seahorse.org.

I've missed Baltimore and Pittsburgh....
