1.max flow 4700
2.max height 47 ft
3.only 525w of power
4.built-in filter,primer basket
thanks,jeff

Did you just say "only 525w of power" that's a kWh every 2 hrs.
It's a beast of a pump but man is that gonna add up. I don't think all my pumps and powerheads combined use that much electricity in 4 tanks.

Holy cow, that is so not the pump to get. YOu should have picked up that gen x pc 40 from will. Thats what I ran on my 180 and I had to dial it down. I also ran it on my 54 corner with the pump and sump in the basement. again dialed down to not over flow the tank.

Get a pump in the 100 watt range max 200 or else you'll want to take the tank down in a few months. IMO

Jeff unless you have a pretty large rise you are going to want a low speed Reeflo pump. The high speed pumps like the Blackfin will cost you double in electric, at 4-5ft of head, that the Reeflo Barracuda will and you will get the same output. Now at 20 ft of head the Barracuda is at 0 GPH.

Jeff if you go to Marine Depot's website and go to the reeflo extrenal pumps. If you click the details tab on any of the pumps they have a nice chart and graph showing the efficiency of the pumps. They don't offer the Blackfin yet, but this helps visualize the GPH vs. Watts based on head.
