Who is Jason Fox?

Like bill said he is the new steve tyree. And I beleave he is one of the owners of wwc or just work for them.
I've met him at CFM show in Florida last may. he knows how to pick out some nice corals. And got an eye for brown out corals. And brings them back to there original beauty. Maybe some are over priced but some of his chalices takes almost a year to grow an eye.
For me if I really like a coral of his (sps) I will pay for it. But thats just me.

Zef, totally agree. If you have a taste for high dollar corals, go for it.

It's the pure gluttony of $999/eye that I find offensive. At some point, whether you are apt to spend money on expensive coral or not, you have to admit the price on these chalices are bloated.

Market sets the price, capitalism, etc.

Maybe its the designer aspect of this coral that peeves me. Or maybe they are just trying to see what they can get away with. Who knows?

I just happened across this while surfing and it bugged me.

I dont think the price was an eye but the hole. Which I do think it's high.
If your thinking of ordering something let me know. There some sps I would like to see in my tank.

i didnt see the "one eye" part of the listing. if i am not mistake this is the same thing that was bought on Ebay for $1500/eye. had a RB article about it and everything.

Also take a look at the 1400.00 or 14000.00. Wrasse they have. The price on some things are because of how rare they are. For that wrasse there only about 3-5 that's in an aquarium or in this hobby. And they have 2.

it is on sale for $799 atleast... if i remember right the lennardi that sold on DD two weeks ago went for a pretty penny

I hit post button before I finish.
(For them to raise prices!! )
Sorry I'm at work and had an order up. Must of hit the post button when putting myphone down.

They maybe gettin more in the trade. But still lil high.
Just like my latz clowns I remember when they were $1500 - $5000 for one. 6-8years ago. Now you get them 150-300.

That same chalice at WWC was for sale when i was there last march. And it's still for sale you think they would lower their price after a year. I have been watching ever since insaw it in person just to see if it ever sold. Looks like no one has the appetite for that.
