Who uses moonlights?

I was wondering who uses moonlights. I found a 15' strand at WM for about 7 bucks, and it's 60 bulbs, with my miter saw and a drill bit I got the bulbs in a 1X2 piece of wood. I haven't actually installed it yet, just wondering if it is overkill. sorry, the strand I got is LED, not just plain Christmas lights. I wish I had waited cause now they are about 2 dollars :D .

Blue. They were in the seasonal section. They look just like the 8 that were on my pc set up, but when I modified my light to fit my hood I removed the old set. I know what joey means though, inside my cabinet looks like two squids doing battle. I was just wondering if moon lights do good for corals.

I use them also. but just for looks. let me still be able to see them at night. and keeps the corals flourescing throughout the night. I have heard or read that it can help with corals spawning sexually. but i dont think that is very common.

I've got a homemade 2 bulb "moonlight" that has been on for several years. I don't think it has done anything for the livestock and I don't look at it at night anyway. I wouldn't go to any trouble to install them again. I agree with Joey, I don't need another power cord to plug in somewhere.
