This is why folks have no monti policies. I go even further with birdsnest and stylophora.

You can kill it back with kalk paste - it will take a while to re-grow over the new area.

Most of my acros can trash my orange monti turgescens and that's why it's the only monti I keep.......plus it's also a nice bright orange which most corals can't match.

IDK. My BTA tentacles seems to avoid touching my monti frag by not extending
