I've been away from the forums for a few years. Raising a family and monkeying with jobs and such. As of late, we recently had a fire at the house and am working to replace alot of tank "stuff". As I was talking to some fine young men from SEA, I noticed that over the years, stuff has changed. So, I figured I would start reading up and catching up on all reefkeeping has lately. I started back in 04' with a 16g. nano, then moved up to a 29g. I built a house and installed a 110tall with the 29g. Ran the 110 as a FOWLR and the 29 was a mixed reef. But then with 2 kids, house and a daily commute to work, it was just too much. I now have just the 110 and was doing great for years. But just this last month, right before I was to leave town for vacation. We decided to catch the dining room on fire along with the fish tank and stand! Yipee. Luckily, insurance is coming along and the tank will be back to greatness soon. My family really enjoys it and our little pets are family additions that cannot be left out. Anyhow, great to see everyone, lots of new faces. Im gonna have to update the profile soon. Thanks and good luck.:beachbum:

Welcome back. Sorry to hear about the flame incident. Tank building is fun and I'm sure it will renew your love of the hobby..

yeah, but getting the significant other onboard is another thing all together. Luckily, my eel and damsel didn't get hurt and are currently doing fine. As for corals, just got some shrooms and a few paly that I havent seen in awhile. Got a new BM skimmer and seems to help with the stress in the tank. Looking forward to some new lights and powerheads.

Hi Ghostbear, Welcome back. Glad everyone is alright after the fire incident. I work in Rio Rico all the time.
