I recently aquaried a large war coral frag, Its doing great. Came home today, and half of it is missing, gone off the frag! Who or what could have done this much damage. Here are some tank mates.....

Orange shoulder tang
Valentino puffer
Box puffer
two clowns
blue chromas
garden eel
lawnmower blenny
sand sifter goby
mandarin
pigmy angle

The usual CUC, hermits, cleaner shrimp, turbo snails.

My guesses are on the puffers, but how, or what do I do to stop it from happening?

No, ive been slowly adding more corals. My war coral is the only one being effected. Ive got a lot of macro, they wont even touch that!

im guessing your boxfish. they eat just about anything. do a test, sit in front of your tank for a half hour or until you see all your fish cross your war corals path. the one that shows the most interest in that coral is probably the one doing it.. and again, id put my money on the boxfish

Is there anything that can be done? Should I get rid of the coral? I dont want to get rid of any fish. Can something be done to keep both in there?

could try to put a strawberry basket around it or a top of a 20ox bottle with a bunch of holes drilled into it.
