Who's got any Chaeto?

Chaetomorpha algae is one of the best macro-algaes for use in the saltwater aquarium. This algae should be used in the refugium to reduce nitrates in the tank.

I need to recharge my Fuge. Anybody have any Chaeto? What about Mangrove plants??:idea:

I will bring a couple of Bags of Chaeto to the meeting for anyone that wants them. (But I will keep my Mangroves) You might check e-bay for mangroves that is where I got mine!! As a matter of fact that might be a "group bye" for mangrove plants!!

I know of no one that sells them locally and I would not mind having a few more, I will check into that!

chaeto grows fast so it removes nitrates fast, Mangroves remove nitrates much slower so unless you were growing it for looks (which I do because I like the look of the roots growing down) I would not depend on it as a nitrate removal tool

I talked to you on Friday Afternoon while I was at the Hospital awaiting Robin to get out of Surgery!!!

You were going out of town to watch the Bears game and we were going to get togather this week, "when you got back in town"

I got Robin back home "yesterday" and have honestly not thought about your chaeto till I just saw this post. I have chaeto that you are more than welcome to come and get most any time! I apologize that I did forget to bring to the meeting!

Well to tell you the truth, Physically she is doing quite well and seems to be better than she has in quite some time.

However, she has had no real memory of anything, prior to when she went under the anesthetic, So come on by any night this week and get some chaeto and I will be glad to "introduce" you to her, as she has had to be introduced to "everyone" including me, the kids and the grandbaby. It is quite disconcerting, but the MD,s seem to think she will come back soon!!

With what we have been through lately all I say is thank god for insurance!!
