Hello all !

Im looking for the once highly desireable, then thought of as a "weed" , famed "Bali Green slimer" AKA yongei, or more acurately Formosa.

Anyone have a colony ?
Im interested in the super green -super sliming- and would much prefer a large branch/frag from a good sized long standing captive raised colony(preferably a non pest infested tank---tho i wont trust you on that :D )

Id be happy to pay or trade!

BTW..........my "new" tank is coming along pretty well ! Im certainly finding that 4-500 gallons can be a handfull at times though!

Hey Greg,

I think I saw a big colony in the Lucky Goldfish display tank in Oakland. He had it for a while and I think he frags them to sell. I haven't been there for a couple of month though. Give them a call.

Hmmm, didn't think about there being much of a difference, but I guess every coral has different morphologies.

Unsure if the one I have is "super green" and "Super slimey" though :) It's pretty damn green, but put the coral under a bluer spectrum and it'll glow like the dickens!

Here's a frag that broke off the main mini-frag/colony I originally got and I decided to mount it on it's side rather than upright, and it's basically acting like an encrusting coral so far :) Btw I believe the actinics popped on right at this picture time, so don't take the greenness too seriously.

Kevin Pockell at Aquatic Dreams in Spokane has a mother colony that dates to 1997, which is the parent colony of mine. I can attest it's vigorous. Mine is thick as your thumb and brilliant green. You can google his store. I believe he will ship.
