Anyone have a fish that you find surprising to be a bully?
I have a very peaceful 30gal DT and my bully fish is turning out to be my purple firefish. I never saw that one coming.
 
My tank is big enough that aggression is pretty well diffused. My Blue Chromis has started getting really bossy ever since I introduced a Kole Tang, though. Go figure.
 
I had a lyukyuensis wrasse that was kinda aggressive, but my whitetail bristletooth killed it... So yeah, didnt expect my tang to be that aggressive.
 
I have a flame hawk that has been a bully to every pearly jawfish that I have put in my tank. It does not bully any other fish.
 
My crested oyster goby tries to kill the pistol shrimp whenever it sees those claws. I think it might be angry at the pistol for shooting it when the oyster goby got into a territorial dispute/really angry argument with the wheeler shrimpgoby. Whatever it is, this goby puffs up and looks angry whenever it comes out of the rockwork, and it chases anything that gets near it. Gobies are supposed to be peaceful.
 
I have a purple tang that bully's a queen angel, an emp angel and a clown trigger lol. And the Angels are 2 inches larger! It's almost impressive how much of a jerk he is
 
I had a longnose hawk a few years ago that became the terror of the tank. He would chase almost every fish in the tank. Needless to say he went back to the LFS.
 
There is no surprise that my bully in the tank is the Powder Blue tang. He is the smallest of the 4 tangs and is the most aggressive.

Mine bites me all the time, too. She hates my foxface, but ignores all my other fish. The Kole gave her a nice little tail swat when I first put him in, and she doesn't go near him now. :D
 
The boss of my tank is my achilles tang. He harasses everyone. The surprise is my vlamingii tang. He hates wrasses. He's the biggest tang by far, but leaves the other tangs alone. He will chase every wrasse away from the front of the tank. He's such a pig, that I think he feels threatened that they'll eat his food :)
