Is this normal if my clam secrets some whitish secretion from the outlet and inlet syphone ??
That really weired 'cuz she doesn't fully extended the mantle lobe in past few days.
I'm just wondering probably that's just a way that she ingests some food like this.
Is this a kind of disease?or maybe any possible??
I have 10 clams in my tank but there is just only one clam doing this.looks bad...........

nobody knows ??
The mantle lobe of T.squamosa is totally shirnk and started at last night.
Is this a kind of disease ??or maybe infected by another clams??

It could be several things. :(

The clam do not look good and when they start to pull their mantles in, most likely a matter of time before he will die. :( SORRY, wish I could provide more encouraging news.

Agreed with Barry the Clam Man.
I never saw a Clam coming back from this situation, and usualy when this situation occurs, it's a matter of hours up to a day till the clam goes to Clam heaven.
