why do my peppermint shrimp keep dying!!

Probably shrimp will eat anything, I buy the ocean nutrition formula one pellets. But your cichlid pellets will work.

Do you ever hear a clicking in a tank look for any hitch hiker crabs at night sounds like you have something bad on your live rock. If you hear clicking its either a mantis or a pistol shrimp.either that or you have really high nitrates test your water maybe your tap water has copper in it check it. I hope you have good luck that's vey sad that stuff keeps dying.

The aquatic lady at petco told me to get the priciest which was prime water conditioner .should I just buy premade saltwater from my lfs because I don't think I can a afford a to unit and I check the salinity of my tank water I just thought u ment the bag

this seems to be the issue here. She told you to buy the most expensive conditioner. I have never once bought water conditioner. most conditioners only remoce chloramines.

As stated before, clowns are extremely hardy fish, some people use them to cycle a tank... They are like tanks themselfs... Snails and crabs and shrimp and coral, those things are a lot less hardy... You def, need to figure this out... If I was you I would quit going to petco...

Yea but where should I buy my fish, online, because I went to another fish store and every thing I got from there ended up dying

I'm new at this myself but to me you are missing the point. If you bought fish and shrimp from LFS then everything starts dying you have a water chemistry issue. Also I have not seen a single parameter listed for people to help you troubleshoot. If it were me I'd quit buying animals and start buying test kits and figure out your water issues.
