Why do SPS not thrive in my tank?

i think its the lighting. most manufacturer led's have skipped out on the necessary spectrums I know of ulns systems having low alk and are doing great. the key is stability no matter what your numbers are. I know someone with the same issues using the ai leds. There could be many factors but I would seriously check the lighting.

Any biopellets,carbon,or vodka dosing?I've found that
Biopellets strip your water clean, even with good fish load.

I have a ai nano and recently turned the whites down low and only running the b and RB at about 75% ,still have problems with the spread but I've got good pe on my acros now

things in the tank are looking better as i am increasing my ALK

Blast the tips with a turkey baster and see if anything blows off. Do you see any cyano or algae settling on the tips?

no cyano, and the tissue is fine, just a loss of coloration...
