Ive noticed my brain coral releasing a lot of mucus from some polyps during a water change why is this? it never did this before but has the past couple water changes The new water is very close to the exact temp and salinity . I change 15% every other week I do pour water in close to the brain but absolutely not directly on it... Any ideas?

Corals use slime as a natural buffer whenever water conditions or other stresses Flair them up. Corals that are exposed to the Sun and open-air at low tide will get super slimy to protect themselves
