It has only been running for 3 weeks, but twice i've had to add more than 10 minutes to the "Tank Time"?

You can adjust the leap second field in setup->clock setup to adjust the speed of the clock. The value in the leap second field is the number of seconds evenly added to the clocks time in a 24 hour period. From you description it, the clock is losing about 60 seconds per day so I would be 60.0 in this field initially.
