why does my carpet sleep upside down?

Hi everyone,
I seem to have something reversed in my brain: I am sleepy all day and wide awake at night. Well, my stichodactyla gigantea has a slightly different issue: it is upright and attached to something all day, then it turns upside down as soon as the lights go out. I do not have pictures right now, and I do not have a set feeding schedule (someone asked about that in a different forum). The anemone is otherwise healthy and happy, as far as I can tell. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks! :)

An anemone being upside down at ANY time is not a good sign. Anemones only release from the substrate when they are stressed and are not happy with the environment - in the wild this is the equivalent of letting go and hoping the waves will carry it somewhere else, which means it will probably die 95% of the time (eaten, swept to deeper water, washed ashore, etc).

How long have you had the anemone? When you say it is happy during the day, could you take a photo of it during the day to share with us?
