why don't mushrooms do well in my tank?

Did you have issues before the AI Sol? I had one and sold it due to them being notorious for really blasting that white spectrum, mushrooms hated it. I'm all fairness though I never tried to really dial it in, just wanted to go back to DIY.

don't think my shrooms got the memo on AI White Sols .... lol

I have 2 AI Sol whites & 2 Sol blues over my 150 and one of my purple shrooms grew so large it completly covered a 3" rock of Zoas so i had to move them ... I also have a 4" rock covered with green hairly mushrooms that believes they should be allowed to overgrow a 6" purple long tentacle plate coral next to them ...

to be fair, most of them are on the bottom but my Sols are at 65% max output during the peak of the day since I have a fair amount of SPS as well ...
