Why I hate buying online

I ordered my new vho's online and what a nightmare.
I ordered
2 IceCap 660's
4 endcaps
4 stand off's
and 4 72" bulbs
Boy did I get a deal buying them online.
I opened the small box this morning to see 2 Icecap 660's wow were they pretty. Then I found all the endcaps thinking to myself wow thats alot of popcorn to go through looking for white endcaps. Its like Christmas morning for a 6 Year old.
Wait where are the standoffs? I moved all the popcorn to another box and no standoffs.
Open long box #2. 4 bulbs just as ordered. Packed with about three rolls of packing tape wrapped around them took about 20 minutes to get apart. Trying not to break a bulb. Again no standoffs.
Great.
I look at the packing slip, none were shipped. I called the seller and they said they were on back order. Should have them in by the end of the month. Ok no problem just take me off the list and credit my credit card the 23.96 and I will get them locally I told them. No can do she told me. What? No can do? It has already been charged to my cc and we can't do that.
Live and learn, my mother always said.
 
At least they didn't leave your box of corals setting on a Hot Tarmac in the mid west . But that was fed ex , and not the supplier . Ted
 
Man that is a bummer. I guess I would not do anymore busness with them. They have a terrable policy.

Ted, Your story makes me hurt.
 
"they can't credit your card?" Call your credit card company and explain the issue to them. If you have a good card carrier, I am SURE they will call the merchant and use their weight to force the merchant to honor your request to cancel the order. The card companies work for you and merchants can't live without the card companies. In other words, you will more than likely be made whole once you contact the credit card customer service and let them know that you want to cancel the order but the merchant won't let you.

I will call in the morning the only thing I'm thinking is it would only be a partial of the bill. think capital one would do that?
 
Let Cap1 know exactly what happened and how only partial order was shipped and that the merchant would not allow you to cancel the portion of the order that did not ship. Cap1 is one of the better cards and should take care of this for you.
