Why is my clownfish picking at the GBTA?

OK. She doesn't host the anemone, but does she have to pick at it. I've had a pair of false percs for about a year. The GBTA I got for them a month ago. I know that it may take a long time before they take to it if at all. I recently noticed that the female is now picking (biting the tips). No damage that I've noticed. Just wondering what's going on.
Thanks!

might be acclimating itself to the nem. they have to biuld up a slime coat so they arent stung. my maroon dident take long, she was actually to excited and stung herself all over leaveing lil white marks. but she did mouth the tips and rub her chin first

Thats great to know! I did just double my lights (2 x 250 watts of MH) and
the GBTA has moved down and is turning brown since new lights a week ago. Is this to be expected with the increase in intense light? I do have layers of screen btwn. water and lights to help acclimate livestock. Will it get green again?
