Why is my Lamarck's angel rubbing against our new fish?

We just added a Midas Blenny to our tank last night, and immediately our juvenile Lamarck's angelfish went over to the rock where the Blenny was hiding out and started backing up to the Blenny's face, touching him with her tail fin & lower part of her body. She swam in circles around the rock a few times, and then backed up to the Blenny again. The Blenny just opened his mouth wide but didn't seem to bite at the angel. What's that about? Is that her way of saying hi, or something less friendly? Haven't been in the hobby that long, so I haven't seen a fish do this before.

Definitely not a hello. She's saying get out of here and he's saying look at my big mouth, I'll bite you woman! Definitely strange, I wouldn't expect that from those 2 either.

That is strange to me. My Lamarck's always been the sweetest of my fish, never aggressive towards anyone. She frequently likes to 'hang out' with my cave/rock dwelling fish, but not backing into them or anything like that.

That's what's puzzling to me, she loves to "œhang out" with the other 2 fish in the tank, a chromis & a springer damsel. This is the first fish we've added since the angelfish. I hope they can find a way to get along. :(

As long as the Lamarck isn't chasing the Midas Blenny, and the Blenny is eating I would just give them time to settle in.

I put (2) in my 120, my Purple & Mimic Tang were little B!@#%s to both of them for a few days. Chased them everywhere. After about a week, both tangs could care less. All 4 along with my Magnificent Foxface swim and eat side by side.
