Why my anthias lost its color ?

My bartletts anthias turned into a pale pink color also. I have 400w lighting, and he's an only anthias. I'll feed a variety of frozen, flake, and pellet, but haven't tried frozen cycloppeeze. I'll give it a shot. If anyone has any groundbreaking suggestions I'm all ears

It's the light. Anthias from very high depths need a strong blue and a dimmed light to retain their original colours.

Many of the anthias noted in this (old) thread are not necessarily deepwater species; and even if they are, I think it's diet more than light. Mine get a varied diet and have not lost their colors, even in a brightly lit tank.

Also important to use each fish as a reference, and not photos of other fish. Lots of inaccurate photos.
