hi I have a bubble tip anemone which is bleaching in my tank. What would have cause it to bleach any idea ?

tempreture 30 celcius.

NO2 ---> 0.1mg/l

30* C ( 86*F ) is a bit on the higher side. But, need a lot more information.

What are your other parameters, including salinity. And what lights do you have?

How long have you had the anemone, and how long has the tank been set up?

I'm currently using Flood light case and replace the double ended bulb 150watt 20000k.

My salinity is 1.020
NO2 0.1ppm
amonia not sure

The tank has been set up for around 3 months +. I have it for around 1 months +. I do feed it JBL Koral fluid everyday by target feeding. small pieces of fish or prawn meat everyday too.

Besides that I also dose JBL Stronium , magnesium supplement, iodin , iron and trace element weekly. The mixture of salt I'm using is marinum sea salt with have extra calcium ,magnesium,stronium and etc.

here is the site of my salt brand : http://www.mariscience.com/marinium-reef-sea-salt.html

I would not dose anything that you can't test for. Assuming that you test for it, should really only add Cal, Alk, and Mag ( if the tests indicate that you are low ), otherwise, there is no need to dose the other elements.

Your salinity is pretty low, should be at 1.026, I would slowly raise it up.

Todd is right you need 1.025 salinity to be able to maintain enough elements in the water. You should very slowly increase the salinity. Your water changes should already have the elements in it that you are dosing. However like Todd said you may need to add buffer, calcium and Mag. But you will need those 3 test kits first!
