Haha! Does anyone actually get them all right? I consider myself pretty decent at engrish and some of them throw me for a loop.
Don't worry, Jesse. Even if it's true, you're in good company. I've heard that international conventions on coral involve a lot of hand-waving and shouting and writing the scientific name down on paper so the scientists can agree on what species they're arguing about.
I am, very much. I think I'm going to like having a sump. My wife is especially happy to have a stand that doesn't have to be hidden when company comes over. Our old one was just plain ugly.

Heck, I wish I had the option to go drive to pick up some nice corals... the only store over here is tiny and the guy running the saltwater part doesn't know what he has, even though that is very little. He referred to some anthelia as Silver Xenia (a rare breed, lol. That's pretty much like calling an ant a diamond in the ruff) with a hefty price tag amongst other things 
hahaha I'll be driving to Texas for nice frags and fish I guess.

I would love to drive around and see all of your tanks, but believe me you all don't want me on the road.
So, when I can convince a friend to take me somewhere to pick something up, I will. Sometimes I have a friends in the area so I ask them to drop by and pick up an item for me. I miss out on seeing another tank in the valley and I'm sad, but as soon as my new item arrives I'm happy and content again.
I always offer to have someone drop off an item here. I'm pretty centrally located and many times it's not an inconvenience for someone to drop off an item. Plus they can always get a free RO/DI water fill-up while they are here.
I do my best to be a responsible buyer. Once I forgot how much I bought and spent too much money and had to delay a purchase for a few days. Once I agreed to buy a tank and then found a bigger, better one for less. I went ahead and bought the smaller more expensive one because I had agreed to buy it. It was a bad deal on my part, but I agreed to it and gave my word. Once I agreed to buy some corals and just could find a way to go pick them up and get them pick up for me. The seller found another buyer. Once a seller decided that 48 hours was too long to wait for me to come pick up a light and sold it to someone else. At least he let me know after I had spent a bunch of time arranging to come pick it up, but before I got there.
I guess the old saying applies:
It is what it is. To each his own.

Like others have said - it usually comes down to common courtesy and relativity. Most people now a days only think about themselves and have no care for the people around them. IE: Being late, no show, no call, changing price once they are in you home. (That being said, I've never really had a bad interaction with any RC'ers and I attribute that to they are hobbyist. They usually understand that we all care about the items we are getting and care not to step on toes of people we know we are going to see again.)
As for the driving concern in the Valley. Someone, brought up a good point that the valley gets smaller the more you know about it. I think I should let you know, I'm a westsider (Peoria). I have and will continue to drive all over this valley for things. My problem is timing. Although, something may be a great deal, I can't afford the time to drive out to QC to get it (working a 8-5 and have my own business). When we were really active in the hobby we used to take an entire Saturday and try to hit all the stores we could on the east valley, pick up frags from others and see other's tanks.
One last comment - I believe that it is the "Poster/Seller" obligation to give ALL the information up front in their post. Location being included; Especially with how large of an area the "Valley" covers. I personally come across this issue all the time. My first reply to most posts are "where are you and when can I pick up?" Not "I'll take it" and then later back out because you are to far away.
Please let me know your thoughts on this!!! - But doesn't everyone understand that when you include every last detail you can think of in your post: 1- You are going to get more serious replies. 2- You are not going have to sift through a ton of questions. 3- No one can say "well you didn't post that".
