its basically first come first serve now a days..can't hold stuff. I held onto a lot of things for this one person and person kept flaking. basically wanted me to deliver after flaking a few times.

If you had experience selling something on CL or RC you must know how unbelievably flaky people could be. Deposit was a good idea but still it's not guarantee. If deal was so great you had to act quickly.

so many times I've held stuff, turned down other calls as said sold, only to have the buyer not show up.

Finally learnt the lesson, no holds, sell to the first who shows with the cash.

Unfortunately this is how I am now too. Been screwed over too many times to count to hold things. Now, IF people agree to paypal a deposit that is non-refundable, then it's a different ballgame.
