Wide Flow for a 0625

I feel like the 6025 that I have for my tank is just a bit too narrow, I love the pump, but I wish it was a bit wider. Would I be able to use the 6095 housing on the 6025, and just sacrifice the reach of the pump, but get a wider flow? thank you!

The 6095 front housing will only fit the 6055 and 6095. 6015, 6025 and 6045 require the stops on the cross of the front housing to prevent a backwards rotation so the 6095 housing, even if it fit, would not work, the prop would just fly out of the pump if it spun backwards on start. Sorry, but I don't have a solution to what you would like to do.

Ok, thank you. If I were to buy a 6055, could I retrofit it with a 6095 housing then? Then would I have the desired wider flow? Thank you

Yes, but since this would bring the total to just about $30 shy of buying a 6095 to begin with, that is likely a better option.
