Wider opening for Tunze 6105

Just wanted to make sure 6205.130 housing fits 6105.

I'd like to replace the stock one with a wider opening for a softer flow.

Would it make much of a difference coming from 6065.130?

It will work, in fact since 2012 they have included both 6065.130 and 6205.130. The flow reduces in reach by 2 ft and adds about 1ft in width.

Well I got mine used to I seem to be missing a lot

I have 120g tank and even at 12v set up peninsula style I keep getting sand cleared out on the opposite end.

Older video, but rock work and power head placement is the same. Atm I have power heads aimed diagonally across the whole tank and just a bit upward so as not to create too much of a spray at the surface.

I have them on a wavemaker going from 30 to 100 every 5ish seconds, hard to tell with this controller without stop watch And they are set to run opposite of each other, so one 30 other 100 and then switch.

Also does 6205.130 include the protective grating?

Ok good. Placed an order for two yesterday. Hopefully will help with sand erosion 4 feet away in the corners heh.
