I have recently noticed a strange red bubble macro growing here & there in my DT & fuge. does anybody know what it is? good? bad? it is pretty though... I have included a few pics from both my DT & fuge. I believe them to all be the same species. submitted for your inspection, here are some pics:

It is red grape algae, botryocladia, however it is one of the species that is not desirable. Very invasive and hard to completely get rid of, stays as single bubbles or clumps.

that stuff is 110% NOT desirable. it is near impossible to get rid of. bubbles pop super easy and unless you can chisel up rock, you wont get all of the holdfast and it will regrow. good luck
