Wierd Snail like thing

Last night i saw for the first time a weird slug thing, it was on the glass and looked like a snail, wiht no shell and no mouth. kinda of like a leech about 3/4 inch in size.?

might be a stomatella... those things are good to have.

A stomatella has a small shield plate on its back, but no shell as such.

sounds like some type of flatworm or nudibranch. will need a good pic to know for sure.

i was under the impression that the bad flatworms,are the ones that are red or have a split tail ? are they all bad,

Another snail question.

I have a mysterious snail that I thought was 2 snails. One of them has a nice white shell on top and the other ..... well it looks like it has no shell and fur!!!! Then I found out that these two were one and the same. I guess it brings it's body around the shell to collect food. Any ideas on what this thing is?

I just looked up a pic of the stomatella and it might be what I have... Upon closer look I would say that NO it isnt it.

theres 1000's of flatworms known and probably 10x more not known about. by flatworms i dont mean the common small red ones (Red Planaria), i mean like these http://www.poppe-images.com/images/search_results.php?category=Flat worms sorry.

Without a pic it is really hard to tell. At 3/4", it might be a nudibranch. Depending on the species, could be good news or bad news.
