I just bought a wild caught clown about an inch and its an active lil bugger, hes in my 6g and he swims a lot I mean A LOT up and down zoom here zoom there take a break continues swimming. My concern is are clowns very active fish? I always invisioned them in the home aquaria as being graceful very slow swimming fish. Hes been in my tank for about 3 hours havent eaten anything so maybe he will tomorrow.

mine went a lil crazy at first. just nervous and a lil stressed i think. just watch his breathing and watch for white stringy poop since its wild caught :)

dident see that. hopefully you'll upgrade and its a baby?

what are you supposed to use 6 gal. for anyway?

course.... my maroons dont even use up 3 inches of space lol.. never leave theyre anemone :D

I adopted my ocellaris from a friend's tank where she was very attached to a leather. When we took her away from her host (which she was slowly killing) and put her into my tank, she was quite stressed for the first few days. All she did was run up and down the glass, then dash from one side of the tank to the other, sometimes fast enough to bump her nose. After three days she calmed down and started looking around for something to host. She found a patch of mushrooms, decided she liked them, and now she acts perfectly normal. Give your little guy a few days, he should calm down.
