Wild Onyx Clownfish. Take 3

I have the newer Kessil model - A360WE at higher settings and longer on.
Also I feed mine every day.
Maybe I need to cut the feeding.

I don't think it makes too much of a difference if you feed Hikkari or other frozen food when it comes to anemones (BTW, what qualifies as "premium" frozen food).

To me it's about controlling the quality of water. PE mysis always caused phosphate and nitrate spikes. Some food manufacturers are known for using RO/DI water in their foods while others may use reg tap water. So it's more than just what goes in the anemone's mouth in my case.

I always rinse the food before giving it to my fish (or anemones). Also I doubt tap water makes that much of a difference when it comes to phosphate and nitrate loads (unless it comes from an agricultural area). The amount of water in the food is just too small.
What may rather cause elevated phosphates and nitrates is the bleeding of the food organisms.

I hear some frozen foods can carry bacteria harmful to anemones...but I don't know how much truth there is to it given the low temperature the food is kept in for bacteria to survive.

Not all bacteria are equally bad for anemones. The ones on food may or may not be harmful. Also, it is almost impossible to tell which food contains which bacteria. This actually depends more on where the food was harvested than anything else.

These are the exact ones I'm getting. I'm still paying them off but Mr cob keeps me well informed with pics.

How much was the pair if you don't mind my asking. I've been amazed at the prices of some of the designer clownfish. The designer clowns came about while I was on leave from the hobby.

Yeah, me too, and the guppyfication of clownfish I found upon my return to the hobby was quite disturbing.

Though those Premnas are not really designer clowns, more rare variations found in the wild (PNG & Solomons).

Awesome, I'll be doing my upgrade in a few weeks. I've got everything but I just had spine surgery a little over 3 weeks ago and on Wed had to go in for emergency surgery to get rid of a bad infection that hit. So might be a while.

Do you have any full tank shots?

I sold off my corals before the upgrade and don't have much in the tank right now. But I will probably put another gig or two in it.

Thanks for the well wishes and trust me, I really can't wait for the healing to be done. I've had leg pain/numbness since an accident in 97 so this is a very long time coming.

Tank looks great, I didn't think I'd like one that minimal but yours looks great. What size is it?

Mine is only a 40b and that's as big as I want to go on a mixed reef/fish tank. I've had up to 200 gal in the past and it's just too much work IMO. So I'm going to keep it simple.
