Will 1800mg kill sea slugs?

I'm currently raising my Magnesium level with Kent tech M to kill off briopsis. I'm currently at 1600 and will be at 1800 by Monday. Will this in any way harm my blue dot sea hare? I'd hate to lose it because it keeps my sand pretty clean.

I'm at 1820 and my sea hare looks good, though I should put in some nori just to make sure it has enough to eat.
