Title says it all, my wife loves the fish but i read here and there that they can possibly nip at the mantles. Any negative experiences with them? I currently have a 4 inch maxima, i do love clams and down the road would like to add a one of each of the types, deresa, crocea, squalomusa (my spelling of them is horrible). 90g tank, list of inhabitants in case that helps is as follows.
yellow eye kole tang
3 blue/green chromis
whip fin fairy wrasse (90% positive)
purple firefish
purple dottyback
green mandy
feather duster
skunk cleaner shrimp
two emerald crabs
two small softie coral
as a side note i'm aware of the sizes that these clams can get to, the larger ones will be going into another system i will have in the works in about a year from now to house their potential sizes, and won't be purchased until i have the room.
