Will a full grown maroon clown host a carpet anemone?

I don't see why not. IMO, maroons take to non-traditional hosts easier than most other clowns. I have a pair of GSM's that are hosted by a haddoni, but they were tiny when introduced to it, not full-grown.

Ours also is not full grown, but she was larger (about 3 inches) when we got her. Took less than a week, and she's been in our carpet nem since.

It is the anemone that is the host not the clownfish. In a aquarium, anything can happen but I would not expect the fish go into the anemone quickly.
