Will a lion go after a mandarin? Experiences?

Any experiences?

I once had a jawfish eat a yellow clown goby (they supposedly have a distasteful slime also) . Then he spit him back out. It was rather bizarre to watch! Would have made a great utube video - lol

After that I believe the goby turned up missing. Not sure if he died from the trauma or whether the jawfish changed his mind. It was a long time ago I don't remember too well.

A lion will eat pretty much anything that fits in its mouth. I keep several lions, and I've kept mandies, but never a medium or large-bodied lion in the same setup (dwarf species are no problem as long as the size differential is reasonable).
