Will a lubbock's wrasse lose color?

If a male lubbocks is kept singly, will it loose it's color? or is that only with flasher wrasses?

I don't know how to tell the difference between the two, I tried to research it but came up with nothing, so if someone could provide some insight id really appreciate it! Anyways I keep a single lubbocks and the only time he Looses color is when he sleeps. If your at all familiar with bettas it looks like he turns pink and has blue stress stripes. Hope this helps some.

No, IME. Mine kept stunning colors the entire 5 years I had it.
