Will a S. splendidus pair with a S. Picturatus?

ive got a female green mandarin and was wondering if she would pair with a spotted mandarin male? My guess is no, but thought I'd ask.

Pair as in act like a pair, or pair as in have babies? They may pair up, but I don't think you can really get babies from them.

No, they will not pair. In a 65 gallon tank, it is unlikely both will survive without exceptional efforts.
