Will a UV kill Ich

I am haveing a small ich attack on a regal tang. I have read about ich and am reading much more now. I was just wondering since ich is a parasite will a UV light/ sterilizer kill ich? also if it will how large of a unit should I get on a system with 160 gallons of water?

I will keep reading about ich as I am now, but was wondering if this will either kill what I have now or at least prevent it in the future if I get it all out of the tank another way?

I use UV and ozone and still had problem because I failed to quarantine. Hypo or copper in separate hospital tank to treat. Leave main tank fallow for minimum of six or seven weeks to allow ich to die off in main system. Quarantine any new fish before adding them to the main tank.
