Will an Arrow Crab bother shrimp or snails?

I'd like to get an Arrow Crab, but I'm worried it might bother (or eat) a clean-up crew of cleaner shrimp, peppermint shrimp and snails. Am I asking for trouble if I put them all in a 30 gallon tank?

I was afraid of that.

Is there any way an Arrow Crab can co-exist with a cleaning crew of any kind?

Another quick question: for people with an Arrow Crab, how do the get their tank "clean" ?

i have 2 arrow crabs that mate every few weeks. they coexist with a peppermint, blood, & cleaner shrimp with no problems. they dont bother my snails either but i have noticed my hermit crabs are gone. so havent added anymore.

arrow crabs also eat bristol worms...........

I have an arrow crab in my tank. My stock list is as follows
1 Blue ribbon eel
1 Coral banded shrimp
1 Arrow crab-6 inches or so from tip to tip
1 large emerald crab, had 2 but the other died
A bunch or red and blue legged hermits
A bunch of snails
And some corals
Also, a brittle star

When I first added the arrow, he fought the coral banded shrimp for a few minutes, but after that I noticed that they coexist fine. Everything in my tank, surprisingly, coexists quite well!

They will, however, take out your bristleworms, which are better cleaners than the crab is.

My arrow crab co exists with a coral banded shrimp, 4 cleaner shrimp, and about 2 dozen snails. The only thing I have seen it eat are blue leg hermit crabs. I am not sure if he has killed them though, as I have never caught him in the act.

I'm starting out with a 30 gallon nano.

I think it is too small and confining for an arrow and some shrimp.

They'll be on top of each other and we know who would win.

I don't think it would be a great idea to put an arrow crab in a nano tank. I never had success with keeping them alive for extended periods in my smaller tanks, but In my current 500 gallon , the arrow crab has entertained my for almost 2 years now

I used to have an arrow crab and I had to let it go because it started bothering all my corals.. I don't know why. He was well fed and had his space but one day he woke up wanting to kill everything in the tank and I couldnt let him do that.

Arrow crabs get 8" across and will kill anything they can. So will CBS, actually. They're highly opportunistic and made to kill things.
