Hey guys,
It's been a while. I miss you guys, I miss my tank. I had a crummy day recently, and went into the LFS just to feel better.
I'm moving to Canada, so I gotta lighten my load before the immigration stuff is done.
I have about 45-60lbs of Indonesian rock. It's not slab rock. It's not live rock. But it's made out of old table coral. These pieces would do best in a larger tank, because they wouldn't fit horizontally across in my 40 gallon that I had them in. josepha was interested in them a while ago, not sure if he still is. I had it shipped from a local fish store I visited when I was on vacation. I know it's not worth this anymore.
I'd like to get $50 for it, I spent $400 on all of it without shipping.
I got it from www.coralconnectionsarasota.com
Great store.
Here's a picture of what some of it looked like crammed into my 30 gallon. Ancient table coral rock on top, Little bit of Fiji rock on bottom.
Equipment:
I just started upgrading to nicer accessories shortly before I got out. Most of it didn't get used a whole lot, so I'm selling most of it for 2/3rds of retail. I haven't been on the boards for a while, so let me know if anything's unreasonable.
I also have a skimmer rated for up to a 75 or 100 gallon tank, gotta contact the person that's holding it for me. I want to think.... Octopus skimmer? Pacific somebody? $125, unless moriartiholmes wants it.
Refractometer, blue-handled, with case, instructions, itty bitty adjusting thang... I swear this cost me $60 dollars from Foster & Smith? But maybe my memory's gone. Anyways, this item is in Syracuse but will have my brother pack & mail to you. $40
Hanna Portable pH tester + 3 solution bottles. (low pH + high pH + neutral pH) All bottles are almost full. This was probably used under 20 times. $75 for everything
I have some pumps. Umm... A super long handled awesome scraper that I got from a Rochester reef store, plus I think I have extra razor blades for it. $10
One of those extendable medicine dropper style feeders that are 20" long? $15
That's how bad this is. I can't even remember names of stuff. Anyways, pm me or Steffcia@gmail.com
I'm in western new york now, not sure if my profile is updated yet.
Much love to all the help of Upstate Reef Central over the years. Especially Gary Majchrzak, Gary Greguire, MarkR, moriartiholmes, ... there's been more. I would have never had a decent piece of ocean, harboring as many beautiful animals as I did without all of you guys.
