Will color return in recovering blueface angel?

I have a very large blueface angel that got a bad case of HLLE and his whole face and head got it bad to the point of being severely pitted and lost all his color.It has been a couple months now and all the pitting is gone and his tissue is all grown back but it is all white.Is there any chance the color will return to his face and head or is it going to be all white.
