Will Haddoni get stung

My haddoni has moved and located itself perfectly between a torch coral on one side and an elegance on the other, will they attack it?

I'm not sure if they will attack it per se, but if the torch comes into contact with it, it will win the battle of the stings. I'm not sure about the elegance, but I would imagine the same outcome.

OK, thanks for the reply, I have not had this problem before, would I know if the haddoni was getting stung? I bet if I move the torch and elegance the haddoni will only move again. I will wait a few days and see if it looks like he is staying where he is before moving the others, if you think it would be safe to do that.

You can see the position here:

First off that is an awesome pic and a beautiful looking tank. Would love to see a FTS.

Second I don't think the corals will be a problem for the haddoni. My rock flower nem got grazed by my haddoni and it shriveled up instantly. I was trying to move the flower when they touched. Thankfully the flower seemed fine about and hour later.

Thanks Graham, I don't have a FTS, I must take one, but here is another I took last night.

I would move the elegance so it doesn't become stressed from fighting with the haddoni. They do not get along. The elegance is a little on the small and weak side right now, but as it grows and builds strength, it will start beating up on the haddoni. If the elegance can reach the haddoni, that is. I don't think the haddoni would do well with the sweeper tentacles from the torch either.

In this old video, you can see that the haddoni is squished down causing the polyp to climb the front glass on the opposite side from the elegance, that's right above it. Before the elegance was placed there, the haddoni's polyp went further up the rocks and across the sand, but not up the front glass. The elegance kept stinging the haddoni until I moved it to a different tank.

Thanks Winwood

And thanks EC, lovely tank. I will move the elegance this evening, the torch will be a bit trickier as it is glued the rock under which the haddoni has based itself, but I will get it off somehow.

I don't have to worry about the elegance anymore, the haddoni ate it that night, along with a sea urchin and was half way through pulling in the rock on the bottom right covered in zoos!

I pulled the rock out and could sea a bit of sea urchin (blue tux) but could do nothing about it. Next morning he had spat out the urchin and the elegance.

I think I am going off the anemone!

Sorry about that.

But, hopefully you will just sell it, as opposed to killing it -- it did what Haddonis do.

I would never kill it or anything for doing something like that, if required I would find a new home, as it is I have just moved things out of it's reach and left it where it is.

I think I might move it to another tank, with the clowns, in the future because it has spoiled the display of the tank, but I still want to keep it.
