I want to add one last fish to my 135 FOWLR. I would like a Volitan Lion 3-5"
Do you think the residing members will allow this

1- Majestic Angel
1- Goldflake Angel
1- Coral Beauty
1- Lemonpeel Dwarf angelfish
1- Tuskfish
1- Cleaner Wrasse
1- Green Chromis
2- Redsea Redback Butterfly fish

Feedback Highly appreciated
Thanks
MM

I would tend to think that the chromis and cleaner wrasse wont survive too long with him. Lions grow fast if fed well.

Expect a lion of that size to double in body size every 3-6 months for a year or so. I'll agree with chompz that the cleaner wrasse and the chromis will be lunch before long. Add to that the cleaner may **** off the lion roally by nipping/cleaning his fins.

One final note....make sure you have a good protein skimmer as those lions add a TON of bioload even though they don't need a ton of swimroom. The mass of what they eat and poo far exceeds the angels and butterfly that are there now. If you have that covered by say a skimmer on the level of a coralife 220 or better (asm's and whatnot included of course) go for it.

Hope this helps.

Eventually, the two Dwarf Angels will also be lunch...I don't think the Lion is a good choice for your mix..I also think you would be way overstocked adding a lion when you already have 2 large Angels, Tuskfish and Butterfly....Volitan Lions get HUGE!!

In addition to the problems mentioned above, large angels have a bad habit of mistaking lionfish and other scorpionfishes for substrate and can pick and their skin and spines. Not a good thing for the lionfish.

not good for the angels either, many of them dont survive the attempt. you are rapidly approaching capacity in your tank, the lion will definitely be more than your tank can handle at this point
