Will Hosting help heal

I have a haddoni that has yet to look healthy. He has good days and bad days. Some days he shrinks down to the size of a CD/DVD and turns half inside out. Other days he is a full foot open, inflated and happy as can be.

For the life of me I cannot figure out what to do.

Would introducing a clown that would host him help? None of my current clowns (tomatoes, Occs and a cin) have any interest in him, but my LFS has a fresh supply of Clarkki.

and now the nem is spawning (smoking - stress, I would imagine).

This isnt good. Any suggestions?

IMO hosting will not help a haddoni acclimate.

Post some pics if you can. It sounds like it is trying hard to acclimate. I'd like to see the "smoke".

Also, if you are feeding, might be a good idea to try something different. Post your water params as well.

The smoke wont photograph under the current water conditions. The entire tank is cloudy from it.

I moved him from my main DT to my 20L clown tank 3 days ago because he was being picked at by a Koran Angel. I figured moving him to a small tank until he healed wasnt a bad idea.

The water parameters yesterday were 0/0/15/8.1/1.027
today they are 0/.50/25/8.0/1.027

Lighting isnt the best, but its a very shallow tank. PC 1x65w 12k, 1x65w 460nm (true actinic). If he lives til this weekend I am replacing the actinic with a 6700. I dont care about the blue.

Something nasty aint right here.

Your anemone is not healthy...probably will not make it. Clown will only stress it even more.

I put a clown w mine and it has helped, but my nem was not shrinking and turning inside out. It had a gape. the clown has made the nem more responsive. its a fine line...

Yeah - pretty sure he isnt going to make it. He has been doing this every day or so for the last 3 weeks. He's a fighter, i'll give him that much.

Any chance that the extra usable (6700 instead of the 460nm) light will help him out or is it a waste of $33 at this point? He hasnt eaten since I got him but his color is still good.
