Will Hyposalinity cure Brooklynella?

Hello:

I have a large clown in Hypo for 1 week now and I was wondering if just doing Hyposalinity @ 1.010 cure Brooklynella

Any feedback is really appreciated, if hypo for 4 weeks wont cure Brooklynella please let me know how to proceed.

To cure brook you need to do a formalin dip hypo wont do anything as i recall.i had to do it for my maroon clown and the formalin dip cured it right away.

there is a section on treating Brooknyella in Joyce Wilkerson's Clownfishes. it does NOT recommend hypo alone.

FWIW, I consider the $25 or so that I spent on her book to be some of the best money I've ever spent.

i would do some antibiotics and formalin dip
