Rich is totally right, the WPG rule is useless... the 250 is intense enough for any SPS as long as the SPS are within 2'x2' of the pendant. That is a sweet reflector by the way. You should be okay with the brace, no need to shield the bulb either.

Sorry man I thought you were only planning on 1 MH for the whole tank. 3 MH's with 4' vho's will rock that tank.
