Will it explode?

I managed to spend my Saturday gluing pvc like a maniac, and produced another closed loop for my system.

My question is for the OM squirt I plumbed into the closed loop. They're rated for 1000 gph or less, but I don't have the drum or motor on mine (water is coming out all 4 valves all the time). I'm thinking that when having a drum, water is diverted to 2 of the outlets in an alternating fashion. So by having the drum gone and all 4 working outlets, I should be safe driving up to 2000 gph through it. Granted, I should be well under this taking into account all the 90 degree elbows I've thrown in.

What do you all think?

Here's a behind the tank shot:

PVC can explode if you put too much psi in it. When it goes it will splinter and can really hurt somebody. I doubt your anywhere near the psi limits but it is something to be aware of.

Yeah, I'm not too worried about the pvc - just wondering if anyone else has used the OM Squirt in a similar fashion. The pump I have hooked to the closed loop is an Iwaki RLT 100 (rated for 2000 gph).

may I ask why use a OM if your not using the drum or moter? you could have just bought one of those + shaped pieces of PVC to do the same job only much cheaper.

It was "thrown in" with a bunch of stuff I bought from a guy locally.

I didn't buy it thinking that I was going to rip out the motor and drum..
