I just noticed 2 nights ago that my clown was starting to try to host in my LTA, now today when I got up, I can't find my clown anywhere. Not even a body. I checked around the tank to see if he jumped out, no luck, could the LTA have ate him?
That is possible. Or he could have been killed and then the cleanup crew did their work. Hopefully he is just hiding out...but if you have looked hard for him...chances are he is gone. ~Matt
I was going to post this exact same question as I added a LT to my 300g last week, after a few days my pair of chrysopterus that were showing interest were gone overnight, not a trace of them anywhere! At first I couldn't believe it, but it's been 4 days and no sign of them anywhere.........
Now I'm worried about putting more clowns in with it, is this a once a clown eater always a clown eater, or if it is fed regularly will it give up the habit?

to my knowledge these clowns arent bred on a commercial basis. All the ones found in the trade are WC. I am sure there are a few hobbyists that have breeding pairs.
If anyone does have a breeding pair I would be highly interested in some offspring.
