From what I've read many people that have used Interceptor to treat Red Bugs end up with an AEFW problem later. So there are a couple of theories on this from what I've read are deduced on my own.
1. If you infected your tank with Red Bugs odds are good that you infected your tank with something else - AEFWs.
2. After treating for Red Bugs you are constantly looking for them to come back and watching your corals closely and later discover the AEFWs.
3. The Red Bugs are competing with the AEFWs for the coral hosts. Once the Red Bugs are gone there is no line at the buffet and it's all you can eat.
4. The Interceptor also wipes out some natural and unidentified predator of AEFWs allowing them to take over.
5. The Red Bugs may be that predator.
In my case I found the AEFW the day after I dosed Interceptor just because I was looking for them based on Tony_B's comments.
My money is on some combination of 1, 2 and 3.
