ok I have had my black saddle back clown for like 7-8 months now he is in a 20L and I just got a female percula today
first question will they pair up
and second question should I leave them in the 20g for a month or so until I put them in my 125 or just put them in the 125 together when they are first meet

1st: odds don't favor a pairing of fish with such different courting behaviors. Its likely possible to pull of a pairing, but you would need many of the controllable variables focused on the pairing, i.e. size of fish, which was female, etc.

2nd: not enough information to advise procedures yet.

Why would we believe the black saddle is a "he"?
Why would we believe the percula is a "female"?

the perc I got out of a group positive it is a she my black saddle back has bin in my tank by him self for about 6 months he killed the other black saddle back im guessing they were both males she is like twice the size of him he is about 2" and she is about 3"
I just put them together and no fighting at all so far he looks like he is strutting his stuff for her fingers crossed

Not quite the way clowns mature from juvenile stage, but the only real way to know for sure is to see a male or female actually lay/fertilize eggs.

Either way, good luck.

isn't a clownfish born a sexless male? so even if the saddle back is female it will turn male because the perc is female ?
so should I keep them in the 20L tank for a wile to see if they pair up befor adding them to my 125
I think it looks good they have bin together for about 5 hrs and it looks like he is trying to get her to follow him to his ricordias but she likes the frogspawn

Clownfish are born sexless juveniles, neither male nor female. They can easily progress to either sex from the juvenile stage depending on circumstances.

It is not safe to assume clowns go from juvenile to male to female.

If the saddle back has killed another clown then i would guess (and it is only a guess) that the killer is the female, while the one that was killed was in the tank they were trying to sort out the pecking order and the one that is still alive won and usually the more dominat one (the winner) is the female. Again i am only guessing here but i think if you put another female in then you are going to get a lot of fighting and possibily if nothing is done about it another death.

my saddle back is scared of its own shadow
I think they are good as gold they are rubbing on each other and stay side by side most of the time its bin like 30 hrs together and they are fine and get along better than good
